Twisted Louvres: Art + Technology Combined

May 16, 2014/in Blog

Boston Valley manufactured these innovative twisted louvers over a 6 month research and development period to demonstrate what is possible to create with TerraClad sunshade devices. These louvers are twisted 90 degrees from bottom to top in two different directions. Installed on a facade, the louvers would create interesting sight lines from both inside the building and outside. They have the capability of making the facade undulate and come alive, while also serving to shade the occupants.

The mockup below can be seen at our facility.
