NYC Townhouse Green Wall Planters in Full Production at Boston Valley

May 18, 2015/in Blog, NYC Townhouse

The NYC Townhouse planters, developed for Michael Chen Architecture, are in full production. As you can see in the images below, several different unit styles will make up the planters for this unique “green wall”.

The planters vary in depth, allowing for more (or less) plants to be grown inside each. The patterned concept requires this variance in depth so that the plants will each get the proper amount of light and water they need to grow.

Green wall planter style with reduced depth. Planters have been finished and will be dried and have a glaze finish applied before firing.
