3D Scan of Scroll and 3D Reconstructed Model

Equipped with an array of digital and analog components, recreation of the facade of 250 Delaware is moving. The team here at Boston Valley is combining the point cloud scan provided by Foit Albert Associates with our own in-house scans of the individual building blocks. The result is a detailed digital 3D model that can be used for coordination between the architect, engineer and manufacturer.

The use of these technologies and details creates an easier conversation between all participants of the process. During the digital reconstruction of the terra cotta facade, these modeling tools will be used to better understand the structural components of the building that will replace the outdated structure that exists.
