Terra Cotta Installation Nearly Complete for 7 West 21 Street in New York City
The glazed terra cotta units framing the upper windows of the 18-story 7 West 21 Street building are nearing installation completion. Boston Valley Terra Cotta has been working with Morris Adjmi Architects on this 290,000 square foot building in the Ladies Mile Historic District of New York City. The completed space will accommodate 288 apartments and 8,000 square feet of retail space.

The mid and upper portions of 7 West 21 Street are constructed of glazed terra cotta units of varying sizes.

The finished building will be covered in approximately 4000 terra cotta units, ranging in widths from 16″ to 24″.
