Refining the 3D Models for the Delaware Court Building

As those of you living in Buffalo already know, the old Delaware Court Building at 250 Delaware Avenue has been demolished as preparations are made for the new 250 Delaware building that will soon rise in its place. Boston Valley has received numerous sample blocks from the original terra cotta facade. We are in the process of refining the 3D models developed from the scan of the building performed by Foit Albert. From this model the individual units that make up the facade will be further refined based on manufacturing processes and anchoring requirements, so that shop drawings of each unit can be created and sent to the project team for approval.
