Near completion, stunning photos of The Fitzroy were featured in the latest issue of New York YIMBY. The Fitzroy is an up-and-coming luxury residence by JDS Development at 514 west 24th street in New York City. Designed by Roman and Williams, The Fitzroy is an outstanding example of design and craftsmanship. Its decadent, green terra cotta façade was manufactured by Boston Valley Terra Cotta and is accented with copper and oak windows.

The masonry fabricated for The Fitzroy is unique in regard to building skins created today. In total, there are 5,600 masonry units that were created to populate the Art Deco Revival style building. To facilitate the production of The Fitzroy’s façade, all four forming methods were employed to create masonry for this project. Currently, the construction of The Fitzroy is almost complete, with scaffolding being removed for the final phase of installation.
