New York YIMBY recently got a chance to see spectacular views of Manhattan and beyond from the 1,020 foot high observation deck on One Vanderbilt, currently under construction. One of the photos taken from the base of the structure highlights One Vanderbilt’s stunning terra cotta and glass façade, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. The unitized curtainwall of terra cotta panels, glass, and aluminum have been assembled and installed by Permasteelisa North America. The white glazed terra cotta panels were manufactured by Boston Valley Terra Cotta using the extrusion forming method. Once the construction of One Vanderbilt is complete the structure will reach a peak of 1,401 ft.
