The Well is Toronto’s largest private architectural project, currently still under construction. The mixed-use development is comprised of a 36-story office tower and residential buildings of 14–46 stories, all rising above a 3-level retail base. When it is completed, the development will include a total of 1.1 million ft² of office, 500,000 ft² of retail and food services, and 1,700 residential units spread throughout six connected buildings.

Boston Valley’s TerraClad® product is being used on sections of the exterior façade, visible in the image above as a white, terra cotta panel system. By using sophisticated applications of terra cotta and brick, as well as glass and steel, The Well design will complement and preserve the industrial character of the historic King Street West neighborhood.

The design architect on The Well project is BDP London, while the architect of record is Adamson Associates. The installer is Clifford Masonry, and the general contractor is Deltera.
