One Madison Featured in Architect’s Newspaper April 2017 Issue

A snapshot of the article about One Madison Square Gatehouse featured in Architect’s Newspaper.
If you were sharp, you caught another Boston Valley project featured in the April print issue of the Architect’s Newspaper – the One Madison Square Gatehouse. Boston Valley Terra Cotta worked with BKSK Architects to manufacture the extruded terra cotta units for the contemporary façade for this New York City structure. Terra cotta was chosen for its malleable form; a shimmering white glaze was applied to provide a reflective surface. Cantilevered from the face of the building, attached to an aluminum track system, the terra cotta fins appear to vertically hover in front of the windows.
We will provide a link when the article is released online at the Architect’s Newspaper website.
