Sea Creatures Return to Façade of Seaside Park and Community Arts Center

April 27, 2017/in Blog, Restoration, Seaside, Terra Cotta Masonry

The Seaside Park and Community Arts Center is one step closer to completion. The once dull Coney Island Childs Restaurant’s nautical motif has been restored to its former glory. Each piece — from Poseidon to the sailing ships and sea creatures — have been painstakingly brought back to life through hours of carving and hand-painted finishes.
