Boston Valley Terra Cotta Announces New Chief Executive Officer

February 16, 2024/in Press Release

Boston Valley Terra Cotta, a leading name in architectural ceramics, is pleased to announce a significant change in its executive leadership team. After an extensive search process, Boston Valley has appointed Laura Rygielski as its new Chief Executive Officer. Concurrently, the former President and CEO, John Krouse, has shifted to the position of Chairman of the Board.

The appointment of Laura Rygielski as CEO marks a new chapter in Boston Valley’s history. Laura’s background as a sales and operations executive with large global companies makes her ideally positioned to guide the company through a period of transformation, growth, and innovation.

Most recently, Rygielski served as President of Trex Commercial Products and CEO of Sightline Commercial Solutions. Her extensive experience in financials, operations, sales, project delivery, and Human Resources will bring disciplined processes to Boston Valley. She has a proven track record of profitable business growth in a challenging market environment and is well-known for consistently delivering results that outperform the market. Boston Valley is confident that Rygielski’s leadership will propel Boston Valley to new heights.

In the role of Chairman of the Board, John Krouse will continue to provide invaluable insights and guidance to the company. As a highly respected figure in the Architectural Terra Cotta industry, Krouse will leverage his experience to support Rygielski’s leadership and contribute to the strategic vision of Boston Valley. Krouse will also serve as an Advisor for the annual Architectural Ceramic Assemblies Workshop (ACAW), which he founded in 2016.

“In the spirit of embracing change, the appointment of Laura Rygielski as CEO weaves a promising thread into our narrative. I’m excited to work with her and continue contributing to the legacy of Boston Valley Terra Cotta,” stated John Krouse.

“I am thrilled to embark on this exciting journey as the new CEO of Boston Valley Terra Cotta. I am grateful for the trust placed in me and ready to bring my expertise to the table and collaborate with the entire Boston Valley team. Together, we will write the next chapter of excellence in architectural ceramics.”
