St. Mary’s Cathedral Project: 3D View

September 13, 2013/in Blog

Boston valley provided 3D shop drawings for the St. Mary’s Cathedral Project using Autodesk’s AutoCAD© software. The recent acquisition of Autodesk’s product Design Suite® has allowed our drafting department the ability to create simulated 3D models and assemblies. The InventorPro® software is used to create the 3D model on individual components and an interactive assembly. This produces accurate recreations of the building that in turn translates into accurate shop drawings and setting/section details to be used for architects/contractors sign-offs and manufacturing in a more timely manner. The simulated assembly can be further enhanced using Autodesk Showcase© for client presentations or for the contractor installation assistance.
