Boston Valley Terra Cotta ACAWorkshop Participants, Emerging Objects, Featured on PBS

December 22, 2016/in ACAW, News

Ronald Rael and Virginia San Fratello, of Emerging Objects, have been working to build a 3-D printed house constructed from various recycled and naturally occurring materials. We were lucky enough to have Rael and San Fratello in attendance at Boston Valley Terra Cotta’s  Architectural Ceramics Assembly Workshop held in August (2016). The ACAWorkshop explored the topic of Bioclimatic Ceramic Systems and touched on Emerging Object’s development of the Cool Brick ceramic evaporative cooling modules. The PBS video below focuses on their alternative approach to materials and design.
