Boston Valley Makes Antefix for Department of Justice Roof

March 24, 2014/in Blog

The Robert F. Kennedy Department of Justice Building, located in Washington, D.C. is scheduled to receive roof repairs. Ludowici, in New Lexington, Ohio will be supplying the roof tiles, and Boston Valley Terra Cotta will be sculpting the Antefix blocks to adorn the roof hip.

The style selected for the Department of Justice matches Boston Valley Terra Cotta’s own logomark. The Blocks are a 3D scanned reproduction of a classical antefix and will be hand sculpted for the job.
