Construction on the COOKFOX designed 39 West 23rd Street has recently topped out at 24 floors in New York City as seen in a recent article on New York YIMBY. With development led by Anbau Enterprises the new residential building in Manhattan’s Flatiron District will soon begin installation of the building’s façade. The building’s exterior will feature glass, brick, and a TerraClad® façade manufactured by Boston Valley Terra Cotta. Currently, 60% of the architectural terra cotta for 39 West 23rd Street has been shipped to the onsite location. Once completed, the building will boast a combination Rainscreen façade with white glazed panels and metallic brown panels. The terra cotta units for this project have been manufactured using the extrusion forming method.
