Boston Valley Visits Manetti Gusmano & Figli in Florence, Italy

An exciting opportunity arose for Boston Valley Terra Cotta while traveling in Florence, Italy. Our President and National Sales Manager were introduced to Manetti Gusmano & Figli, a family owned and operated terra cotta manufacturer that has been around for seven generations.

Already, a connection between our two companies exist. Not only are both of these manufacturers family owned, but they are both also incredibly dedicated to the art and craftsmanship of terra cotta manufacturing. “Quality, durability, modern industrial processes” – our goals are synonymous with one another.

Manetti Gusmano & Figli specializes in the manufacture of a variety of tiling for floors, roofs and walls. They have also taken on the manufacture of large pots for use in wine making and as decorative elements. The company has a rich history dating to the restoration of Brunelleschi’s Dome. Their beautifully handmade products are a testament to the material and the work that goes into making it.
