Prototypes Highlight Glaze Color Matching for Department of Justice

April 30, 2014/in Blog

The prototypes of the antefix units for the Department of Justice roof have been pressed and glazed to match the original historic sample. The Robert F. Kennedy Department of Justice Building is the Washington, D.C. headquarters of the United States Department of Justice.

One copy has been kept here at Boston Valley and another was sent to the project team for approval. Check out the photos below to view our precise color matching between the new prototype and the original.

The finished prototype unit on the left and the original sample unit on the right. Congrats to our R&D department for a great color match with the glazes!
