The Association for Preservation Technology International (APT) 2018 Conference wrapped up on September 27th in Buffalo, New York. 2018 marked the 50th year for this multi-disciplinary, membership organization dedicated to promoting the best technology for conserving and preserving historic structures.
Boston Valley Terra Cotta manufactured the components for 363 Lafayette’s unique facade. The units of the terra cotta frieze were extruded and the projections were modified in the finishing department. A dark grey matte terra cotta glaze application highlights the simple geometric pattern.
