The Ringling Museum is almost complete! Production of the emerald terra cotta units is winding down here at Boston Valley.

In addition to touring the plant, the group was updated on the progress of units being manufactured for the new addition to the Ringling Museum of Art called the Center for Asian Art.
Boston Valley Terra Cotta worked with Machado Silvetti to create the dynamic terra cotta façade for the Centre for Asian Art extension to the historic campus of the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art.
Three thousand handcrafted terra cotta tiles, glazed an iridescent green, are being painstakingly installed on the exterior of the future Helga Wall-Apelt Center for Asian Art on the campus of the Ringling Museum.
Rodolfo Machado: Materially, we chose terra-cotta because the structure is a piece in a garden, and the garden pavilion has always been a light green terra-cotta with golden edges.
