Construction is nearing completion on 145 Perry Street, a four-story private residence situated in Manhattan’s West Village. Leroy Street Studio, along with Silman Structural Engineers, has masterfully designed the structure, spanning an impressive 30,000 SF. This property will feature four levels, including a cellar, a landscaped roof deck, a curving staircase, cozy fireplaces, a convenient elevator, and a charming rear garden. It replaces a former two-story parking garage, bringing new life and sophistication to the neighborhood. Sciame Construction is serving as the project’s construction manager, and Nicholson & Galloway, Inc. is the installation contractor.
Nestled at the corner of Perry and Washington Streets in New York City, this development seamlessly integrates a contemporary apartment building and a classic townhouse into the historic urban fabric. Crafted with refined materials and contextual detailing, the townhouse façades boast custom stacked, intricately woven hand-pressed (172 units) and RAM-pressed (1,886 units) red terra cotta bricks, along with 88 TerraClad® panel units produced by Boston Valley. These carefully designed elements not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the neighborhood but also optimize privacy for its residents. With only a few minor finishing touches remaining at the street level, the wraparound scaffolding will soon be dismantled, revealing the full beauty and grandeur of 145 Perry Street.
