Boston Valley Terra Cotta has been working with the JDS Development Group, Architects Roman and Williams and the IBI Group to bring The Fitzroy to life at 514 W 24th st. in New York City.
Located at 514 West 24th street, The Fitzroy finds its home on the Lower West Side of Manhattan. New York City's West Chelsea neighborhood boasts many iconic buildings and historic landmarks, such as the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Highline, and the Hotel Chelsea.
The Pacific Gate Condominiums, designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox’s (KPF) New York office, will feature a terra cotta entrance wall manufactured by Boston Valley. The wall will incorporate a water feature and use geometric patterns and gold luster glaze to imitate the rising sun in the Pacific Ocean.
The John and Mable Ringling Museum, located in Sarasota, Florida, will soon feature a new Asian Art Study Center with a completely digitally imagined and designed terra cotta facade. Museum Project prototype models have been created and are having molds cast around them today. They will spend the next few days in the dryer before hand packing and slip casting can commence.
