Boston Valley Terra Cotta is an industry leader in the manufacture of architectural terra cotta products for historic restoration. Our venture into the restoration market began in 1983 with the manufacture of replacement units for Louis Sullivan’s Guaranty Building in downtown Buffalo. Since then our products have contributed to the successful preservation of some of the most architecturally significant buildings in the United States, Canada, and abroad. Terra cotta units crafted at Boston Valley replace pieces that have been in service often for 100 years in cities from New York to New Orleans, Chicago, St. Louis, Montreal and San Francisco. Each project is a custom project and we work closely with the architects and contractors from the beginning to the completion of each restoration project.
Family owned and operated, Boston Valley Terra Cotta’s team of artisans, architects and engineers brings a well-orchestrated energy and passion for the material to each project, creating exceptional terra cotta that withstands the test of time, especially in severe climates. Our clay bodies are formulated to exceed industry standards in all physical performances tests. Our glaze matching and sculpting capabilities are second to none.
